A doctor-formulated, innovative scar removal solution packaged into a simple day and night routine.
Three products. One solution.
Scarology® Ultimate Scar Care System is a simple day and night routine designed to improve the overall color, texture and appearance of scars to achieve dramatic results.
Start your morning by spreading a thin layer of the Natural Fruit Exfoliator over your healed scar. Massage for 1-3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
The exfoliator is a key step because exfoliation allows the removal of the unhealthy skin cells overlying the scar, stimulates the healthy surrounding tissue to replicate and replaces the top layer of skin. It also allows for the Ultimate Scar Healing Cream to penetrate more deeply for better results.
The Ultimate Scar Cream contains 4 active ingredients, not found in any other treatment. It was designed to provide your skin with the nourishment it needs to reduce inflammation and hydrate.

For the best results, we recommend applying the Ultimate Scar Healing Cream twice a day. Once in the morning after rinsing off the exfoliator and once in the evening. Taking a few minutes in the evening to reapply the Ultimate Scar Cream will support the renewal of your skin throughout the night. Complete this step prior to the application of the Silicone Scar Sheets at bedtime.
The Silicone Scar Sheets provide the compression and nourishment needed for your scar to heal throughout the night. It only takes a quick minute to apply the self-adhesive sheet to your dry scar prior to going to bed. The scar sheets are both flexible and comfortable so you won’t even notice it’s there.
The scar sheets can be used repeatedly so remember to store with the protective liner in the morning.
Scarology® products can be used on any skin type and is suitable for both adults and children.
The Scarology® system is effective in treating all scar types – new, old or stretch marks.
Key product ingredients have shown to hydrate the scar, boost the immune system and reduce inflammation in the scar tissue.

Scarology was created by husband and wife team, Dr. Michael Connor and Dr. Jeanmarie Connor because the commercially available scar treatment products they were recommending to their patients did not convincingly show any improvement in the appearance of scars. Scarology’s complete scar treatment system is different than any scar treatment products available on the market today, many of which have been shown in scientific studies to have little to no benefit. Scarology is an innovation in scar treatment combining exfoliation, a scar cream and silicone sheets all within a simple day and night routine.
No other scar treatment has incorporated a gentle exfoliation step to aid in the prevention of new scars and in the removal of old scars. Exfoliation procedures such as dermabrasion or laser resurfacing have been shown to be effective in improving the appearance of a scar but can cost thousands of dollars with the possibility of significant down time. Scarology’s Natural Fruit Acid Skin Exfoliator works on the scar over time and is easily incorporated into your daily routine.
Scarology’s proprietary scar cream was formulated after extensive research of the medical literature. The goal was to create a scar cream with natural ingredients and to avoid using ingredients that have been scientifically shown to have little or no benefit, such as onion extract. Some of the ingredients, until now, have only been available in medical settings and are not currently in any other over the counter scar creams. These key ingredients have been shown to nourish the healing skin with hydration, boost the immune system, and reduce inflammation in the scar tissue*.
The nourishing and compressive effect of silicone sheets on scars has been well documented in numerous clinical studies. Scarology’s self adhesive silicone sheet uses advanced patented silicone technology currently used in hospitals.
Scars from several years ago are the most difficult to treat and most likely will not change in appearance with topical silicone or onion extract alone. However, Scarology’s 3-part system is different. The Natural Fruit Acid Exfoliator will slowly stimulate the surface layer of the scar to remodel. As new surface layer skin cells are being laid down, the Ultimate Scar Cream, can nourish and soften the deep layers of the scar. No other scar treatment on the market provides gentle exfoliation. Scarology is the only commercially available product for scars that can reduce the visibility of old scars.
The skin is very effective at healing itself. Following an injury, the skin immediately undergoes changes at the surface level to close the wound and inflammatory cells enter the deep tissue beneath the wound. Once the wound is closed and scabbing has subsided, the entire 3-step system can be used. Ask your doctor when it is safe to start treating your scar.
A new scar will remodel over the course of a year and can change in appearance throughout one’s life. It is recommended that Scarology be used as long as the scar continues to show signs of improvement and for 3 months thereafter. We recommend using the system for at least one year for best results.
No. There are several types of scars. Any cut or break in the skin can leave a scar. Scarring may be better or worse than anticipated as healing is highly individualized. Both traumatic and surgical scars can result in a flat, pale scar or a hyper-trophic (dark, thick or raised) scar.
Some skin types can keloid which is where the scar actually grows over the boundaries of the cut or wound due to extensive scar tissue. A wound with persistent inflammation in the deep layers such as acne or a chicken pox wound can result in a sunken-in or pitted appearance. Wounds that exist around a joint or heal with a lot of tension on either side can become widened over time due to several months of stretching.
Stretch marks are a common form of scar that can result from pregnancy or fluctuations in weight. In both instances, the skin is stretched faster than the natural remodeling of the skin.
